Implementing Guidance on Significant Changes: One Institution’s Experience

Topics: In this webinar, Lon Kendall and Elaine Kim from Colorado State University (CSU) will talk about how they implemented OLAW guidance on significant changes to animal activities (see NOT-OD-14-126). They will outline the main points of a functional IACUC policy for conducting veterinary verification and consultation (VVC), review the documents they created, and describe the processes they utilize to implement VVC at CSU. They will also discuss how the amendments submitted for VVC have influenced revision of their policies.
