Application of the AVMA Guidelines for the Depopulation of Animals to Biomedical Research

Topic: In this webinar, Dr. Samuel Cartner will review the AVMA Guidelines for the Depopulation of Animals with a focus on the sections that apply to the biomedical research animal environment. Dr. Jennifer Pullium will then discuss these guidelines in the context of a real-life disaster, Hurricane Sandy. The discussion will include OLAW’s perspective of these Guidelines by Dr. Axel Wolff.
